HAWKS,
Benjamin C. “Ben” Hawks, Jr.,74, of Crewe Va. joined his family in Heaven on March 20, 2018. He was the son of the late Benjamin C. Hawks, Sr. and Mary Snead Hawks. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ann Williams Hawks ; his daughter, Lynn H. Sheffield and granddaughter, Kristin Sheffield all of Crewe; his brother, David B. Hawks of Victoria and sister Maureen Culley (Glenn, Jr.) of Farmville. Ben was a retired staking technician for Southside Electric Cooperative. He proudly served his Country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of  VFW Post 9954. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at the Staples Funeral Home, Victoria, Va. where funeral services will be held Saturday, March, 24th at 1PM.
